As an exercise in incorporating legacy content into this Drupal-based site, I have been playing around with my old Galapagos Islands site (www.rdaniel.com/galapagos).

The "finished" product is now available here on barkwhistle.com.

I ended up using Drupal's "book" feature, with each page of the old site (day1, day2, etc.) as a "book page" in Drupal lingo. The textual content was copy-and-pasted into the Drupal edit window, where the TinyMCE rich text editor was used, albeit sparingly.

The IMCE image module was used to insert images, but frankly it's not very slick, and did not work at all in rich-text mode. It did its job, if a bit awkwardly, in plain text (HTML source) view only.

It was fun revisiting this content, at least...
